Are you a student? Google launches an AI chatbot specifically for students
With the advent of generative AI, and its associated chatbots capable of answering almost any question, students have seen a new way to make their studies easier. Google has developed a bot specifically for them: it’s called “Learn about” and is already active in beta.
With the advancement in academic work leading to generative AI, Google decided to experiment with training a bot that not only provides answers, but also provides in-depth explanations. That’s how Google Learn About was born, a chatbot that’s currently only available in the US but you can try it out using a VPN.
Currently, unless Google decides to expand the tool's use, it only speaks English and requires a US connection (I tested it using NordVPN VPN). As for how it works, we found it to be very useful, of course, with teaching capabilities as well as an attractive graphical appearance that enhances the answers.
Google Learn About is active as an experiment, and from what we've verified, it works for Google accounts even outside the US using a VPN. To access it, you'll need a US IP address: and access it via this link .
