Microsoft will change the Windows 11 lock screen forever This is its new look
One of the most underrated screens in our Windows 11 operating system is the lock screen, which features a series of MSN-specific widgets.
We often overlook these lock screen tools, but what you probably didn't know is that Microsoft is going to let us customize this page practically to the max so you can start taking advantage of it.
We must remember that the widgets on the Windows 11 and Windows 10 lock screen are available to everyone, but we have very little control over them today.
But as reported in Windows Latest , Microsoft is planning to add a function that will allow us to choose what appears on the lock screen, including the ability to edit these widgets.
This will allow us to choose whether and how the MSN Weather widget appears, and it also looks like there will be an option to hide some of them.
This feature is not available yet but there are certain references in build 27747 that point to a later public preview.
So a future release of Windows 11 24H2 will allow us to edit and manage lock screen widgets, thus giving users a new screen to house some of their favorite apps.
