Google Docs Editor lets you create AI-powered images for your documents

Google Docs has expanded its AI-powered tools to let users create custom images directly in their documents. Powered by the Google Image 3 image creation model , this new feature aims to improve visual presentation and creativity in documents. The feature is currently rolling out to Google Workspace subscribers.

- How to use image creation in Google Docs

The new Google Docs tool allows users to create high-quality images simply by providing a text description. To access this feature, users need to go to the Insert menu. Then, select the Help me create an image option under the Images submenu. This will open a side panel where you can:

- Description of the required image.

- Choose aspect ratio and image style.

- Create visual options and select the one that best suits your document.

Google Image Model 3 uses artificial intelligence to create realistic images of people, landscapes, and other objects, giving users a simple and effective way to enhance the look of their documents.

For now, this feature is only available to Google Workspace subscribers, including Gemini Business, Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education, and Google One AI Premium plans. Google didn’t provide details on a potential expansion to other free users outside of Workspace, but it promises to be a revolutionary tool for document creation.

Google Docs’ new imaging tool makes it easier to incorporate high-quality visual content without having to resort to external resources. This not only saves users time, but also improves the aesthetic quality of the documents created. We’ll be watching for future updates to see if it’s generally available.
