Microsoft warns against opening this many emails in Outlook at the same time
There are many applications on our computer, some of which are as important as the email client.
However, if you are one of those who use classic Outlook mail, you might be surprised if at any time you open more than 60 emails at the same time.
It may be very rare that we have so many emails open at the same time, but the fact is that some admin or some worker may end up doing so, in which case something will happen.
Well, according to Microsoft , if you ever open more than 60 emails at the same time in classic Outlook, the app will crash right away.
Specifically, what will appear first is a warning about low memory or insufficient system resources, and then it will be permanently blocked.
Microsoft's advice is not to open too many emails at the same time in Outlook.
Specifically, USERProcessHandleQuota should be increased to avoid this issue although they also warn that this can have unintended consequences: “Increasing the process quota can lead to general system instability because it allows all processes on the machine to open more user objects at the same time. This puts additional strain on the operating system.
It's a fairly rare failure, because today's computers already have interesting RAM, and there should be no problems when opening 60 emails at the same time.
Now you know what happens if you have more than 60 emails open at the same time in Outlook.
