Google Cloud will be the AI of Honor Magic V3
Honor has announced the global launch of its foldable phone, the Magic V3, at IFA 2024 in Berlin on September 5 and today, we learned that it will come with three cloud AI features that will be powered by Google Cloud technology.
Honor Magic V3's smart features thanks to Google Cloud
The global version of the Honor Magic V3 will bring several AI features to the device such as Magic Portal on the foldable, which allows two different floating apps to run simultaneously, enabling better multitasking.
Google Cloud will then add the following features – AI Eraser, Face to Face Translation, and Notes Live Translation. These features will require an internet connection for processing and language packages, but should improve “daily life and work across a range of scenarios such as business meetings, travel, and lifestyle sharing.”
The Honor Magic V3 will hit the international stage as the thinnest foldable smartphone ever at just 4.4mm thick when unfolded, and it's also packed with power thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 12GB of RAM as a standard option, and will feature Google services directly.
