Add long press feature to computer keyboard as in phone

The "long press" feature is used daily to enter symbols and numbers when using the phone keyboard, meaning that one button has two functions, which makes the keyboard more effective and professional, but it is not available with computer keyboards and another button must be used with it to obtain a similar feature, so in this post we will learn about a way to add this feature to the computer keyboard.

Key Manager is a new program for Windows that has a simple and easy interface. Through it, you can control the keyboard comprehensively and customize it as you want. You can reprogram the entire keyboard and change the function of each button to whatever you want easily. Download the program from the link below the post. After installing and running it, the main interface will appear. From there, double-click on (double click to add) to display the following window.

In the Add a New Action window on the left side, select the key or key combination option, and at the top, type the button to which you want to add the “long press” feature, then make sure to put a check mark in front of the long press option. You can specify the duration of the long press, then open the Key or mouse button list to specify the function that you want to be performed after the long press.

From the Launch a program or file section of the left menu, you can select a program on your device to run it by long pressing a specific button by selecting the button from the top and then activating the Long press option, then pressing the File button to select the executable file for the program you want to run.

There are also many options that may come to your mind in customizing the keyboard. We leave it to you to explore them yourself and use them as you like.
