Next, we'll detail each of the phones running older Android versions that will see the Meta-owned messaging app stop working in less than two weeks from now.
A recent report from Italian media outlet HDBlog. It reveals which Android smartphones will no longer be able to use WhatsApp as of January 1, 2025.
Back in March, WhatsApp updated its support page, stating that all phones running Android versions prior to version 5.0 would not be compatible with its messaging app.
This means that starting from January 1st of next year, WhatsApp will stop working on a total of 19 Android phones that are still running an old Android operating system, which we will list below:
