Google launches an important feature in Gemini that will benefit you in your life, and this is how you can try it

Google’s AI continues to evolve, and now Gemini has released a Google Calendar extension that promises to make your life easier… at least in theory. This new feature, available in the Gemini app and on the web, lets you create, edit, and delete calendar events using natural language commands, without having to open the Google Calendar app and go through all those manual steps.

With the new Google Gemini extension, interacting with your calendar just got a whole lot easier. You no longer have to navigate through the Calendar app and follow all those steps that can be a bit tedious. Now, you can tell Gemini something like “Create a meeting tomorrow at 10am” and it will ask you to give it a name for the event, or you can be more specific, like “Add my doctor’s appointment next Thursday at 9am.” You can even add a description for the event.

 - How to use Google Calendar extension? The process is very simple:

- Go to gemini.google.com or open the Gemini app on your Android device.

- Type google@ in the chat box.

- Select Google Calendar from the options that appear.

- If you don't see the Google Calendar option, it means your account hasn't received the add-on update yet. Try again the next day!

Gemini’s expansion into calendar management is just the beginning of what multi-modal AI can do. With the ability to manage tasks, check availability, and interact with events more naturally, Gemini promises to make our lives more organized and less complicated.
