Sony has launched two new Inzone monitors aimed at gamers, with a focus on everyone from casual gamers to eSports professionals.

Featuring a 27-inch OLED QHD display, the InZone M10S focuses on immersive visuals and responsiveness, and is aimed at eSports gamers.

The Japanese company InZone M10S was developed in collaboration with the famous Fnatic e-sports team to be ready for tournaments while highlighting speed and performance.

The 1440p display combines a fast 0.03ms response time with a 480Hz variable refresh rate.

The InZone M10S is one of the fastest OLED gaming monitors you can buy, and its specs match the capabilities of the high-end monitors LG unveiled at CES in January.

Achieving the 480Hz variable refresh rate is entirely dependent on the frame rate and GPU performance of PC users, while PS5 platforms cap that refresh rate at up to 120Hz.

Sony says the InZone M10S includes performance optimization modes to help gamers get the most out of their PC systems.

Tournament mode displays games at a 24.5-inch display at 1332p resolution and a 480Hz refresh rate, while gamers who are used to playing on 24.5-inch 1080p monitors can opt for a lower resolution.

There are also FPS, FPS Pro, and FPS Pro Plus modes that leverage the image characteristics of Twisted Nematic LCD displays used in esports tournaments, along with improved image clarity.

The InZone M10S's display can achieve a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and is DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, which means you can expect a wide color gamut.

Sony said that this screen contains self-illuminating OLED pixels, which provide an immersive gaming experience with its brightness, contrast ratio, accurate expression of colors, and viewing angle.

The monitor also features HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports, Nvidia G-Sync support, and comes with a height-adjustable stand that can tilt and swivel. The InZone M10S is available to order for $1,100.

Sony also released an updated version of its InZone M9 monitor from 2022. The InZone M9 II is available in a 27-inch size for $800 with a 160Hz refresh rate and 2160p resolution.
